2021 Zinfandel

Made with 100% Estate-grown fruit, the 2021 Zinfandel is an excellent example of what El Dorado Zinfandel can be. Aged in 60% new French oak for 18 months, this wine begins with an aroma of caramelized barrel sweetness intermixed with aromas of ripe raspberry and dark blackberry. Medium to full body with a bright acidity that is nevertheless incredibly smooth on the palate. A bit of pepper and spice on the finish balance out this beautifully complex and yet eminently drinkable wine.
